2020 Creality High Recommended Ender Series DIY 3D Printer

Creality Ender Series DIY 3D Printer Introduction

Ender and CR series DIY 3d printer has been loved by the public, especially because of the price is extremely cost-effective, Ender-3, Ender-3 pro has been repeatedly rated by ALL3D as the best 3d printer under $ 200. Forbes even mentioned Ender-3 as the best 3D printer in 2019. Since the birth of Ender-3, it has brought so many awards. For those who have just learned about 3D printing, Ender-3 a kind of highly recommended 3D printers for beginners and hobbyists.

Some users might not be so aware of Creality 3d printer categories, apart from Ender-3, Ender-3 Pro, there are many other 3d printers like Ender-2, Ender-4, Ender-5, Ender-5 Pro, Ender-5 Plus, Ender-6. are apparently users might not know about. However, Ender-4 and Ender-2 have been discontinued last year. At present, Ender-2 and Ender-4 cannot be found on the market. Then, what is the difference between these other Ender series 3d printer products, let’s check it below:

Ender-6: High Recommended FDM 3D Printer

The most exciting news that just released of course will be our 2020 latest DIY 3d printer kit Ender-6, this machine with Core-XY structure draws on the technology of Ender-5 pro to build volume, shell, and improved components. So what's so special about it?

1.Bigger Print Volume
In terms of the build volume, Ender 6 is 250 x 250 x 400 mm, making it between the Ender 5 Pro (220 x 220 x 300 mm) and the CR-10 series, its starting size It is 300 x 300 x 400 mm. This is sufficient for most of your daily printing tasks.

2.Faster Print Speed
One of the most distinctive features of this new Ender 6 is its speed. Creality has a speed of 150 mm per second and a resolution of 0.1 mm. This is due to the Core-XY style component, which can achieve an overall higher printing speed

3.Better Bed adherence
The hotbeds of 3d printers previously were ordinary hotbed stickers or with magnetic stickers. Now all the newly released Creality 3d printers hotbeds are assembled with a tempered glass of better adhesion and durability, and the printed models are easier to remove without unsightly consumable residues.

4.Selectable Semi-closed build chamber
The new product of the Ender series is an acrylic shell. As far as we know, this is an optional upgrade for Ender 6. A simple mechanical support system holds the acrylic wall in place. Since the print head is installed here, the top of the machine is not covered. When finished, the two front doors give you space to remove parts from the printing bed.

5.More silent printing environment
Creality uses the new TMX-2208 system chip for its motherboard. Which makes Ender 6's printing quieter.

6.Other functions:
1.resume printing function and equipped with filament detector
2.Brand new 4.3-inch color HD screen, higher user experience

Ender-3/ Ender-3 Pro/ Ender-3 V2: High Recommended FDM 3D Printer Under $300

Ender-3 Pro and Ender-3 V2 are upgraded versions of Ender-3. In fact, these three models of printers look very similar, and personally, I highly recommend the new version of Ender-3 V2, mainly For better user experience, its appearance is more neat and tidy than the Ender-3 and Ender-3 Pro while all the cables are perfectly sealed. It uses the same detachable 4.3-inch color screen, tempered glass hotbed board, belt tensioner, and filament sensor as Ender-6. In the past, there’s no filament sensor on Ender-3 or Ender-3 pro. Sometimes it is not easy to replace the filament. If the filament is used up and the model is not finished, this model will completely fail. For the public, these functions are more Friendly and more environmentally friendly. So will the price is relatively more expensive? Actually the price of Ender-3 V2 is relatively cheap. Between $269-$289, I believe that Ender-3 V2 will be one of the 3D printers that users like less than $ 300.

Ender-5/ Ender-5 Pro/ Ender-5 Plus : High Recommended FDM 3D Printer between $400-$1000

With the release of Ender 5, Creality has maintained its strong development momentum in terms of affordable and affordable printers. Basically, by packaging the popular features of Ender 3 into a larger box-shaped machine, Ender 5 quickly gained a huge supporter in the community. Creality has always been loyal to itself and released the Pro version of Ender 5 and Ender 5 Plus (expanded version).

Adopted structure of Core-XY, Ender-5 comes with a dual Y-axis motion control system, which makes it look more stable and running more smoothly. The basic printing size of Ender-5 is 220*200*300mm, but people more believe that it runs well in 3d printing quality.  After ALL3DP tested its’ features, what amazes us is that it graded 23.5 out of 30 scores in the Autodesk Kickstarter test. even exceeding Prusa i3 Mk3. though the print speed is as high as 80mm / s, there will be no significant print quality degradation. On top of that, Ender 5 handles various filaments surprisingly well, only struggling with TPU (as unique to Bowden Drive 3D printers).

The Ender-5 series machine adopts the Core-XY structure, the dual Y-axis motion control system makes the overall printer look more stable and run more smoothly. Actually, the basic print size of Ender-5 is 220 * 200 * 300mm. In terms of print quality, Ender 5 is convincing. In our review, Ender 5 scored 23.5 out of 30 points in the Autodesk Kickstarter test, even exceeding Prusa i3 Mk3. Even if the print speed is as high as 80mm / s, there will be no significant print quality degradation. On top of that, Ender 5 handles various filaments surprisingly well, only struggling with TPU (as unique to Bowden Drive 3D printers).

While Ender-5 Pro and Ender-5 Plus are upgraded versions of Ender-5, based on the same print size, Ender-5 Pro comes with a low-noise 1.1.5 silent motherboard, soft magnet, imported Capricorn Bowden PTFE tube, In addition, Creality Ender 5 Pro has a highly durable metal extrusion device that ensures a stable supply of filament. The printer is equipped with adjustable bolts, so the user can adjust the pressure of the extruder gear to best suit any filament of choice.

So what is special about Ender-5 Plus? As the name suggests, Ender-5 Plus provides a larger build volume, and its print size is 350 * 350 * 400mm, which is the largest Ender series machine to date...

Like Ender 5, Plus also adopts a gantry design, which means that the print head is placed on the top frame of the printer, and the print bed moves down along the Z-axis. Similarly, each axis has a dedicated stepper motor, while the Y-axis motor drives two belts at the same time there is not much change here. In order to make the Z-axis have sufficient stability, the enlarged printing table can be installed on four rods and two lead screws instead of using two rods on the universal Ender 5. Ender 5 Plus is finally equipped with Antclabs' touch-triggered BLTouch proximity sensor. In addition, Ender-5 Plus, like Ender-5, has a basic resume printing function. Unlike Ender-5 and Ender-5 Pro, it also equipped with a filament sensor.

We all know that the demand for 3d printer overseas is increased during the epidemic recently, it can be used to print all kinds of protective tools. Thats why printing speed becomes an important factor. Ender-6 was born for this. Ender-6 mainly for 3d printing enthusiasts and users who have high requirements for printing speed and printing accuracy. I believe Ender-6 will be one of the more potential machines after Ender-5.
